 Hannah Flower Hannah Flower
This idea uses the following items :

Scrapbooking K&CO Hannah Floral Flat paper

Hannah Ivory ornate square flat paper.

Bazzill Basics cardstock - Rosey

Small tag

Burgundy ribbon

Cut out the flower from the Hannah floral paper

Cut the Rosey card into a 21cm x21cm square and fold in half. (DL size)

Cut a 20cm x 10cm rectangle of the ivory paper, then a smaller rectangle of Rosey card and a further smaller rectangle of ivory. Layer the rectangles onto the card.

Stick the cut out flower onto the top layer (you can decoupage another flower and use thin foam pads to add dimension).

Draw on the stamens with a brown marker pen (such as a Marvey le Plume) and add red circles with a marker pen at the tips.

Add a small tag cut from Rosey and a bow and affix to the stem. Write on your message with the thin marker pen.

 




Oriental LadyOriental Lady
This idea uses the following items :

Card blank made from Oriental Red card

A4 cutting sheet - Japanese Lady Red

Peel offs - Oriental gold

Bazzill Basics card - Pomegranate, Olive and Emma Pink.

For the card :

Score down the centre of the A4 red and gold card and fold in half

Cut out all the layers of the Japanese Lady and assemble with the largest layer at the bottom using the small foam pads evenly spaced on each layer.

Cut a rectangle of the burgundy card slightly larger that the base of the Lady. Ink the edges of the card with the pine cone brown ink pad. Cut another rectangle from the green card the same size as the burgundy. Attach the Lady to the burgundy card using double sided tape. Add the thin gold lines around 2 edges of the green card and then place slightly at an angle behind the burgundy card.

Cut 2 corner pieces out of the cutting sheet and attach using foam pads to a triangle of pink card (edged with pine cone ink).

Add peel off oriental message of your choice to a thin piece of burgundy card (edge using the ink pad) and then cut another piece the same size in the green. Add gold lines to the parts of the green card that you can see. Offset the green card behind the burgundy.

Attach the message to the right hand side of the card and the panel with the lady in the centre.

Cut 2 corner pieces out of the cutting sheet and attach using foam pads to a triangle of pink card (edged with pine cone ink). Add the corners raised on a foam pad to opposite corners of the panel.

Small scrap of pearlescent card in purple;

Tools and Glues - Xyron repositionable tape,

Ruler;

Bone folder or back of table knife;

Large needle or hole pricking tool.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of plain vellum 15cm x at least 12.5cm (you can always trim it down after you have finished foldng). Make pencil marks on the vellum at 1.5cm, 2cm, 4cm and 4.5cm in from the right-hand edge. Using your ruler as a straight edge, score lightly down the vellum at each of the points just marked wit the bone folder. Then fold the vellum alternately up and down to make two pleats. Holding the pleats firmly in place use the needle to make two holes evenly spaced at the top and bottom in each pleat and place the lilac and pink coloured brads through the holes. (Tip : make sure that you fix the backs of the brads so that they follow the line of the pleat. Then they will not show through the vellum). Use Xyron repositionable tape to glue the pleated vellum to the card. (Tip : put one strip of tape on the left-hand edge and another one under the pleats, so that it does not show through the vellum). Trim any excess vellum from the left-hand edge. Cut a piece of purple card 10cm x 4cm and decorate it with the peeloff border. Fix the Crafty Bitz motif in place on the purple card. Then glue the purple card onto the front of the card as shown. Finish by adding a further peeloff border to the left-hand edge of the card.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of decorative paper from the Bitty Scrap Pad 12cm x 5.5cm. Glue it to the front of the card as shown. Take the motifs from the Grand Adhesions and stick them in place.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of green stripe paper from the Bitty Scrap Pad to fit the card front and glue it in place. Cut a piece of copper card 5.5cm x 10cm and then tear a piece of orange card slightly smaller than the copper. Put the leaves peeloff on to the orange card as shown. Fix all the layers onto the card placing the vellum peeloff leaves partially under the first and second layers as shown. Finish with extra peeloff motifs.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of vellum paper 6cm x 15cm. Cut 2 squares of plain blue paper with the decorative edged scissors approximately 5cm x 5cm. Put a peeloff parcel and cake onto scraps of white paper, cut around them and colour with chalks. Glue them to the plain blue squares. Place the vellum centrally on the card front and hold in place with 4 Carribean Funky Flower Bradletz. Fix the blue squares, with the 3D foam tape squares, at a jointy angle as shown. Finish by using other peeloff motifs such as the small stars and diamonds randomly down either side of the card.

A5 Cutting Sheet - Tags;

Peeloff Stickers - Sunflower Collection 1 - gold, Brads and Eyelets - gold;

Pens and paints - Decorating Chalks;

Length of narrow yellow ribbon;

Piece of cream card or paper approximately 9cm square;

Tools and Glues - Xyron Double-sided tape tabs.

How to make :-

Place the peeloff of 5 sunflowers centrally on the square of cream card (or paper) and colour with chalks. Use Xyron tape tabs to fix the cream square to a slightly larger square of orange background paper, and them use the tabs again to fix this to the card front. Cut out a coordinating tag from the A5 Cutting Sheet. Strengthen this by glueing it to a small piece of card if desired and cut out a small hole at the top. Cover both sides of the hole with a peeloff eyelet to strengthen and thread the ribbon through the hole. Place more ribbon around the card and stick the tag on as shown.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of background paper 14cm x 8cm and glue it to the right-hand side of the card leaving a small margin around. Glue the rectangle frame as shown and then glue the sailing boat on top. Cut a seagull from the A5 cutting sheet and glue it above the recatngle frame. Cut the backs off the anchor and ships wheel buttons and glue them to the card as shown using a strong PVA glue. Use the alphabet dot peeloff letters to spell the word 'holidays' down the front left-hand side of the card.

How to make :-

Assemble the twister card using a white central piece. Cut out the circular design from the A5 cutting sheet and glue it to the central piece of card (dismantle the card prior to sticking). Cut just the flowers and butterfly from the central design on the second A5 cutting sheet and fix on top of the first layer using 3-D foam squares. Re-assemble the twister card and cut out small motifs from the same cutting sheet to decorate the corners.

How to make :-

Cut out three single flower pictures from the column on the right-hand side of the A5 cutting sheet and glue onto the inside of the card directly behnd the three windows. Cut out the blue hydrangea at the bottom of the sheet and glue it to the front of the card as shown. Finish by placing the peel-off message above.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of Awning Stripe paper to fit the front of the card blank and glue in place. Cut a piece of pearlescent paper 14.5cm x 4.5cm and glue centrally on the card. Mount the mini plant pot die-cut with 3-D foam squares. Make 3 plant stems with the peel-off lines and fix die-cut flowers at their ends with the 3-D foam squares. Punch out velvet paper flowers and glue them on top of the die-cut flowers. Glue a mirror round in the centre of each flower.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of Basic Gray paper to fit half the DL card and glue it to the front of the card blank. Cut an angle off the sides at the top of the card. Cut a rectangle of pink Emma card and a piece of darker pink card. Glue both to the card front at a jaunty angle as shown. Add Ballerina and crown and the words. Use a strip of pink card approximately 2cm wide. Add the recipients name in silver peel-off letters (coloured first with peel-off pens if required).

How to make :-

Apply a strip of peeloff floral chains to the left-hand edge of the card blank. Cut a strip of lilac snow paper 4.5cm x 15cm and apply it to the centre of the card with sticky dots tape. Cut a piece of gold pearlescent card 6cm x 7.5cm and a piece of mulberry paper marginally smaller. Glue one of the toppers from the set to the mulberry paper and in turn to the gold card and fix the whole to the card blank using 3-D foam squares. Glue a few mirror squares in place as shown.

How to make :-

Cut the A4 card to 7ins x 10ins and fold in half to make a 5x7in card blank (you can make it larger if you prefer). Cut a piece of light coloured paper in a heart design to be 6.5cm x 11.5cm and glue to the right hand side of the card. Mount a slightly smaller darker piece of paper on top and fix the negligee from the Jolees Boutique set in place.

Cut a strip of patterned paper 4cm x 16.5cm and glue to the left hand side of the card. Cut 3 pieces of dark paper approximately 4cm x 3.5cm and glue at regular intervals on top of the patterned piece. Glue a further 3 patterned rectangles (3cm x 3.5cm) on top of these and place the other items from the Jolees set in each square. Use the peeloff letters to put the person's name at the top and the age at the bottom of the card.

How to make :-

Cut the A4 pale green card to 7ins x 10ins and fold in half to make a 5x7in card blank. Cut a piece of Christmas Green card to 8.5cm x 10.5cm and a piece of Magnolia card 7cm x 9cm. Cut a piece of Daisies Vellum 8.5cm x 10cm. Layer the magnolia card, daisies vellum and Christmas Green card as shown useing the vellum tape and place this centrally on the card blank using 3D Foam squares. Rub on the bird bath and the sunshine message from the E-Z Rub-On. To finish decorate the two opposite corners with the floral design from the Rub-On and then the other two corners with the decorative lines peeloffs.

Cut a piece of the cream bows/dots paper to 21cms x 10cms and glue it to the front of the card blank. Cut a piece of the magnolia card 5cm x 14 cm. Apply 3 E-Z Rub-On flower pictures to the magnolia card from the Red Flowers 2 pack. Place this centrally onto the card blank using 3D foam squares. Apply the E-Z Rub-On 'Share a Flower' wording from the Garden Thoughts pack just below the floral design as shown.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of Printed Vellum-Victorian to fill across the right hand half of the card blank and glue in place on the left hand edge (it does not matter if the glue shows as it will be hidden from view by the blue paper). Prepare a similar sized piece of blue patterned paper but tear the right hand edge rather than cut it. Glue in place on the left hand side of the card overlapping the printed vellum slightly. Cut a piece of blue paper or card (we used blue corrugated) 4.5cm x 6.5cm and a co-ordinating backing piece 5.25cm x 7.25cm. Layer these two pieces and fix to the card blank with 3-D foam squares. Glue Crafty Bitz design to front as shown. Take the 'Special for you' wording tag from the Greetings Tag Charm pack and make a hanger with wire or thread. Secure in place as shown with a silver bradlet.

Regular Punch - Daisy;

Small scraps of blue and white paper;

Piece of dark blue paper or card, approximately 3.5in square;

Tools and Glues - 3-D Foam Squares, Glue.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of the Blue/Green Cloud cutting sheet to 5in x 7in and glue it in place on the card front. Glue the dark blue card or paper centrally as shown. Cut 4 of the medium sized Marguerites squares and cut out just the flower and fix it on top of the corresponding squares with 3-D foam squares to give a raised effect. Cut out the watering can and fix it in the bottom right hand corner with foam squares. Punch out some daisies from the paper scraps to decorate around the can. Finally cut out the butterflies from the Marguerites cutting sheet and glue them near the watering can and daisy squares as shown.

How to make :-

Cut a piece of purple dot paper approximately 4.5cms x 11.5cms and a piece of purple heart paper approximately 3.5cms x 10.5cms. Layer and glue to the left-hand side of the card as shown. Tear around a fairy from the Flower Fairy vellum sheet and tape to the right-hand side of the card. Punch out a daisy from the purple dot paper. Push the bradlet through the punched daisy, through the folded piece of silver ribbon and through the card blank and fix in place. (Tip : it is easier to make all holes separately with a pin first and then push the bradlet through all pierced layers).

How To Make:

Cut and fold the pearlescent card to A5 size.

Trim off a small border from the edge of the card.

Cut a piece of the patterned paper from the cutting sheet and adhere to the inside edge of the card.

Put the peel off border along the edge of the patterned paper and along the edge of the front of the card.

Rip and tear a piece of the patterned paper and adhere to the front of the card.

Cut out all the layers of the fairy.

Place 3D squares on the back of the first layer and place over the patterned paper - this brings the layers away from the patterned paper.

Place 3D squares onto the back of all the other layers and place over first layer.

Stick mini adhesive gems onto the shoes.

Place 3D squares on the back of the first layer and place over the patterned paper - this brings the layers away from the patterned paper.

Place 3D squares onto the back of all the other layers and place over first layer.

Stick mini adhesive gem onto the necklace.

How To Make

Cut and fold card to A6 size

Stick peel offs down outside edge of the card

Cut a piece of clear film to fit the card - with enough to fold over the back of the card and adhere with the glue dispenser onto the back of the card

Place decorative line peel off along folded edge of the film

Place peel off butterflies on the card

Fill the spaces on the butterfly peel offs with Art Institute Glue and starting with the lightest colours first cover with the glitter

Leave to dry
