Lacé comes from a French word meaning 'linked together'. All you need to start producing beautiful lacé work is a lacé template, knife, and duo card, ie. card that has a different colour on each side. Secure the template in place on the duo card with low-tack tape or blu-tac. Cut the design through the template with the lacé knife starting at the point and cutting towards the edge of the design. Once the design has been completely cut, carefully remove the template and score along the fold lines with the lacé folding/scoring tool. Fold the scored pieces over and tuck the points under the unscored points to reveal the other side of the paper.
